Huntington’s Disease Association (the HDA) required a new website to replace an existing website. It was identified their existing site was outdated, had unfriendly presentation of a huge amount of information, a need to generate more traffic to the site as well as introducing other functions such as online donations and an improved shop function.
Working closely with several team members within the HDA, we created a full specification and planned user journeys to ensure visitors to the site would be able to find the relevant information. Organisational brand guidelines were followed, which we incorporated within the website design. The site was designed, developed and built integrating the Content Management System (CMS) Umbraco, allowing client access to content management once the site was live.
We are extremely proud, as is the client, of the website and consider it an excellent example of collaborative working to reach a design all parties are happy; an enhanced user experience and increased traffic to the site in the short space it has been live, as well as generated more donations online. We have built a fantastic working relationship over the 18 months of working with the HDA and aim to continue and build this relationship going forward.
